About Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) :-

The year 1968 proved as a landmark year in the history of the University when a U.G.C. team visited Darbhanga in order to explore the possibility of establishing a multi-faculty University here. Subsequently the State Government set up a committee to examine the administrative and academic structure of the modern University at Darbhanga, following the recommendations made by the visiting team of the U.G.C.

The Government of India constituted another committee consisting of Shri T. P. Singh, Secretary, Minister of Education and Social Welfare, Shri R. K. Chabra, Secretary U.G.C. and Shri N. D. J. Rao, Education Commissioner, Bihar to look into the matters for establishing a University at Darbhanga. The committee submitted its report that the establishment of a separate and independent University at Darbhanga could be considered on merit basis.

About B.Ed Entrance Test :-

Lalit Narayan Mithila University has entitled Responsibility of conducting Regular Mode B.Ed Entrance Test 2020. NOU is going to conduct Bihar Entrance Examination (B.Ed.) 2020. This Exam will be conducted to take admission in Two Year B.Ed Programme. The Entrance Test Exam May be organized on the Date 19.07.2020.
