About AIMA MAT:

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

About AIMA MAT Exam:

Computer Based Test Internet Based Test Pencil Based Test
The questions are shown on the computer screen and the candidates have to mark their answers via keyboard and mouse. A remote proctored IBT is a secure online test that can be taken from any convenient location, like home,
at a preferred slot from the given options. There is no need for you to travel to a specific test center to give
the test.
The candidate will be given a Question Booklet along with an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Answer Sheet. Using a pencil (HB Pencil) candidates have to mark their option by filling up the oval dark.
Students are expected to simply click the appropriate option and then click another button to move to the next question. In case, a candidate wants to change the answer, later on, he can come back to that question and click on a different option However, to ensure fair delivery of the test, every candidate is monitored live through the computer system
webcam and mic; and the same is recorded in the form of snapshots and videos which form part of the
candidate’s record, to be reviewed after the test
If the candidate has to change any answer, he has to erase completely the one already marked and darken the fresh oval with an HB pencil. This takes a lot of time and gives rise to the possibility of a mutilation of the answer sheet.
The candidates taking the computer-based test are provided with rough sheets for solving their answers. IBT stands for Internet Based Test, which means that candidate must have working internet connection
to take this test. This IBT would be remote proctored; i.e., the candidate will be remotely invigilated through
live video and audio feed, and the Computer screen of the candidate would also be monitored.
No rough sheet is provided. Candidates have to perform all the calculations in the question booklet itself
