About Bihar Police:
Policing in the Modern era in Bihar began in the year 1862 with the introduction of the Indian Police Act of 1861. Following the creation of the province of Bihar in 1912, the basic structure of police as it exists today in the whole of India was laid. There have been several officers of the Bihar province in pre-independence India who have made pioneering contributions to policing in India.

FAQs Regarding the Exam Pattern for Bihar Police Home Guard CSBC
The Selection will be in two Phases:
Phase I: Written Exam
Phase II: Physical Test PET/PMT
For male candidates the maximum marks will be 50 and the time duration will be 06 minutes and the distance will be 1.6 Km.
For female candidates the maximum marks will be 50 and the time duration will be 05 minutes and the distance will be 1 Km.
For male candidates, the maximum marks will be 25 and the weight of shot put will be 16 pound and candidates have to throw it up to 16 ft.
For female candidates, the maximum marks will be 25 and the weight of shot put will be 12 pound and candidates have to throw it up to 12 ft.
For male candidates, the maximum marks will be 25 and the minimum height will be 4 ft.
For female candidates, the maximum marks will be 25 and the minimum height will be 3 ft.
