| Senior Aircraft Mechanic (Inspector) | Deputation/Absorption/Re-Employment:
Officials under the Central Government in the level-6 in the pay matrix ₹(35400-112400) with five years regular service in the grade and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below:- (i) (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by Director General of Civil Aviation (ii) Minimum experience of eight years in Aircraft or Helicopter maintenance with three years maintenance experience on Border Security Force type i.e. Ml- 17 and Ml-17 Variants. For Ex-Servicemen : (i) Deputation/Re-Employment : The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications as prescribed at (i) and (ii) above shall also be considered . (i) (a) Three years Diploma recognized by the Directorate General, Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering; or (ii) Preferably two years’ experience in maintenance or overhauling of communication or Navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or Helicopter held by BSF(to be prescribed from time to time). (i) Re-employment :The Retired Armed Forces personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed at (i) and (ii) above, and held analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union. (ii) Possession of total 500 flying hours on Multi Engine Aircraft or Helicopter and minimum 100 hours on Helicopter (iii) Medically fit for flying as per Indian Air Force.
