CEED 2025 known as Common Entrance Exam for Design is a common entrance exam conducted by IIT, Bombay for candidates to get admission to Master of Design (M.Des) and PhD (Design) programs offered at IIT Bombay, Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kanpur, and IISc Bangalore as well as IIITDM Jabalpur. CEED 2025 will be conducted soon.

The CEED 2025 application form will be available without late fee. Candidates can also complete their CEED registration with a penalty of late fee of Rs 500. 

CEED 2025 consists of two papers – Part A is a computer-based test on Aptitude and Maths while Part B is a paper-based test with questions on the drawing. CEED 2025 will be held in 24 cities. CEED scores can also be used for other institutes for admissions to their M.Des programmes. In CEED 2025 exam there was 5491 application was submitted for the exam out of which only 1179 candidates qualified. In 2018, a total of 5,507 application was submitted for the exam out of which 1,003 students qualified for admissions.

Why CEED 2025 Entrance Exam

• CEED 2025 will be conducted in both online and offline mode.
• CEED 2025 Exam Pattern is divided into two parts – Part A and Part B.
• Part A is an online test which contains multiple-choice questions that will include design aptitude questions for evaluating a candidate’s Visualisation and Spatial Ability, Environmental and Social Awareness, Observation and Design Sensitivity, etc.
• In Part B, questions are displayed on a computer screen and answers are to be written on an answer sheet. Questions in Part B are aimed at testing design, drawing and writing skills.
• Part A is qualifying in nature, while the marks in Part B will form the actual merit list.

CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

CEED Academic Qualification 2025

• Candidate must have qualified a Graduation Level Degree / Diploma / Post Graduate Degree Programme of a minimum of 3 years or 3+2 (after 10+2)
• A candidate who is appearing in Final Examination of the above programmes by July 2025 OR
• Candidate must have passed the GD Arts Diploma Programme (10+5 Level by July 2025)

How to Apply for CEED 2025?

Step 1- CEED 2025 Registration

• to fill CEED 2025 Application Form Visit the Official Website ceed.iitb.ac.in to register For CEED 2025
• Enter a valid e-mail ID and mobile number for application form for CEED 2025
• Verify the e-mail ID and save the password received on the entered mobile number.

Step 2- CEED 2025 Filling Form and Uploading Documents

• Log in using the E-mail ID and Password received on mobile.
• Enter the personal, academic and communication details in CEED 2025 Application form
• Choose and enter 3 CEED 2025 Exam Centers.
• Upload the photograph, signature and required certificates.
• Review and click on ‘Pay fee and Submit’.

Step 3- CEED 2025 Fee Payment

• Post clicking on Pay Fee and Submit, you are redirected to Bill desk for the payment process.
• Enter the account number in case of Internet Banking, Card number and CVV number for Debit Card and Card number and PIN for Credit Card users.
• Verify and click on Pay to complete the payment process.

CEED 2025 Application Fee

CEED 2025 Exam Pattern

In CEED 2025 Exam Pattern includes two parts, Part A & Part B and the total duration of the exam is 3 hours. Candidates who clear Part A are eligible to appear for Part B of the exam. The duration of Part A is 1 hour. The duration of Part B is 2 hours. Part B will start only after Part A ends.

• Marks obtained in Part A will be used to shortlist candidates.
• Part B answer books will be evaluated manually for the candidates who are shortlisted in Part A. In Part B, there will be 5 questions of total 100 marks. There will not be any optional questions.

CEED exam does not have such designated syllabus by the exam authority. As per the exam questions from the previous year’s papers our experts observed that Part A contains the following topics:

CEED 2025  Exam Center

The conducting body of CEED 2025 decides to conduct the exam in various centres across India in many cities. Candidates can choose 3 exam centres in order of preference at the time of filling in the application form for CEED 2025. A city may have more than one examination centre. Once the application form is submitted, the change in examination centre is not possible. No request in this matter will be entertained.

CEED 2025 Exam Centers:

CEED 2025 Admit Card

• CEED Admit Card 2025 will be available from December 27 to 17 January 2025.
• Eligible candidates can only download admit card online. Admit card will not be sent to any candidate via mail or post.
• Details included on the admit card are the candidate’s name, date of birth, roll number, photograph, signature, examination time, examination date, examination venue
• With CEED 2025 Admit Card, a candidate must also carry one of these documents- Passport, College Identity Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Adhar Card or PAN Card.

CEED 2025 Result

• CEED 2025 Result will be declared on March 4, 2025.
• It can be collected from its official website: www.ceediitb.ac.in
• Before the declaration of the result, CEED 2025 Answer key will be uploaded in January 2025.
• If there is any doubt, it can be sent for clarification or correction to the concerned authority.
• After corrections, an updated Answer Key will be re-uploaded in February 2025.
  CEED 2025 Result will be displayed in the form of a scorecard. It will be valid for a year.

CEED 2025 Exam day guidelines

What to carry on the exam day? (✔)

• CEED 2025 admit card
• Two passport size photographs (preferably same as the one submitted with the application form)
• A valid photo Id proof (Passport/ Aadhaar card, Driving Licence, PAN Card)
• PWD Certificate (if applicable)

What not to carry? (×)

• A stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Pen, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
• Communication devices like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
• Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
• Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc.
• Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc.
• Candidates suffering from diabetes are allowed to carry eatables (with prior intimation) like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottles. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/ candy/sandwiches, etc.
