About CRPF Para Medical Staff Recruitment:
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment to 342 posts of Group B & Group C Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted, Combatised Paramedical Staff i.e. Inspector, Sub Inspector & Assistant Sub Inspector. About CRPF Para Medical Staff Exam:
Candidates who applied online will be called for examination. The dates of examination will be notified soon.

STAGE-I
Eligible Candidates will be issued admit card for Stage – I i.e. PST/PET which will be conducted at designated recruitment centres.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Note: During PST process following documents will be screened:
- Caste/Category certificate where applicable.
- Education Certificate
- Age/Date of Birth
- Discharge Certificate & Experience Certificate in relevant trade in case of Ex- servicemen.
- NOC in case of persons serving in Govt departments from their Head of office.
- EWS certificate.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

STAGE – II:
Written Examination
Exam Pattern :
Exam Pattern for the Group B & C Para Medical Staff written test is as Follows:-
- Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
- There shall be a composite paper carrying 100 questions.
- Each question will carry 01 Marks thus the Exam Will be of 100 marks.
- The duration of test will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
- Questions will be set in bilingual (Hindi and English).

Standard of written test Part A will be equivalent to Graduate level except for the ranks of CT and HC. Their level of exam will be Class X and XII respectively.
Standard of written test Part B will be at par with eligibility criteria required for particular trade and rank.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
Minimum cut off percentage for qualifying the written examination for all the posts will be as under:
FOR THE POSTS OF INSP, SI, ASI & HC
Unreserved/EWS/Ex-servicemen | 50% of total marks. |
SC/ST/OBC candidates | 45% of total marks. |
FOR THE POST OF Constable
Unreserved/EWS/Ex-servicemen | 45% of total marks. |

Detailed CRPF Para Medical Staff Syllabus :
Exam Syllabus for Group B & C Para Medical Staff written Exam is given below:-
- General Intelligence & Reasoning : It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and and differences, problem solving, relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.
- General Awareness : History, Geography and Socio Economic development of India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
- Numerical Aptitude : The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
- Hindi/ English Comprehension : Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.
- Trade/ Profession Related : Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the subject concerned as per the qualification prescribed in the Recruitment Rules and related to the trade/profession under the several posts.
STAGE – III:
Trade Test And Screening Of Documents
Trade test will be of 20 marks and of qualifying in nature. Details of trade test are as under:
- Practical test in concerned trade including handling of tools/ equipment – 10 marks
- Knowledge about tools/equipment: 05 marks
- Experience: 05 marks
- Work experience of five years in respective trade- 5 marks
- Work experience of four year in respective trade – 4 marks
- Work experience of three year in respective trade – 3 marks
- Work experience of two year in respective trade – 2 marks
- Work experience of at least one year in respective trade – 1 mark
Screening of original documents i.e. educational, experience, technical etc. will be done at the time of skill test.
NOTE -1 : Experience certificate for the rank Insp/ Dietician, SI (Staff Nurse) / SI(Radiographer) / ASI (Pharmacist) /ASI (Physiotherapist)/ ASI (Dental Technician) / ASI (Lab. Tech) / ASI (ECG Technician)/ HC (Physiotherapy Assistant/ Nursing Assistant/ Medic)/ HC (ANM/Midwife)/ HC (Dialysis Technician)/ HC (Jr. X-ray Assistant)/ HC (Lab. Assistant)/ HC (Electrician)/ HC (Steward)/ HC (Veterinary)/ HC Radiographer(Veterinary)/ HC Lab Technician (Veterinary) will be verified and if found fake, candidature of the candidate will be cancelled .
NOTE -2: Marks in experience certificate irrespective of source for Constable Masalchi/ Cook/ Safai Karamchari/ Washer Man/ Table Boy/ Water Carrier be awarded keeping in view the subjectivity and objectivity of knowledge in practical on ground.
