About Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University :-
Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University Established by the State Legislature Act 28 of 2014 on July 24, 2014, CSRU has a sprawling campus of 75 acres situated 2 kilometres from Gohana Bypass, Jind. The university was established with the vision of imparting quality education by creating most conducive ambience for the production and dissemination of knowledge guided by innovative thinking, scientific enquiry, sublime human values, sustainable ecology, and democratic ethos. The aim of the University is the cultivation of citizens with a rich awareness of our heritage to lead and serve in every sphere of human activity.
CRSU Reservation of Seats and Guidelines for Reservation :-
A. Distribution of seats :-
The seats shall be distributed as under :
(1) All India Category including Haryana : 15%
(2) Bonafide Residents of Haryana : 85%*
60% of the seats earmarked for bonafide residents of Haryana will be reserved for the categories as mentioned at below, as per State Govt. policy and remaining 40% seats will be filled from among Haryana General Category.
B. Reservation of seats for Bonafide Residents of Haryana :-
- Scheduled Cast :- 20%
- Backward Classes of Haryana (except Socially Advanced Persons/Sections (Creamy Layer) :- 27% (16 % for Block-A) (11 % for Block-B)
- Economically Weaker Sections (who are not covered under the existing scheme of reservation for the Scheduled Castes, Backward Class (Block-A &B) other than category (i) & (ii) above. :- 10%
- Differently Able : 03% if the seats reserved for differently abled persons remain vacant due to non-availability of suitable differently abled candidates, it may be offered to Ex-servicemen and their wards (1%) and dependents of Freedom Fighters (1%)
- Further 3% horizontal reservation is also provided to Ex-servicemen/Freedom Fighters and their dependents by providing reservation within reservation of 1% of General category, 1% out of Scheduled Castes and 1% from Backward Classes category for admissions to the various educational institutions of the Govt. and Govt. aided/ institutes located in Haryana. As far as block allocation in Block A and Block B of Backward Classes category is concerned, year wise rotational system will be adopted. For example, if Block A of Backward Classes are given seats in the Academic Year 2019, the next Block i.e. B Block of category of Backward Classes will be given seats in the next academic year i.e. 2020 and so on. The concerned Chairperson/Director of the Department/Institute shall maintain a roster register for horizontal reservation of Ex-servicemen/Freedom Fighter & their dependents and carry forward all fractions till one seat is accumulated through different fractions over the year. As and when the total comes to one, a seat will be provided to the concerned category.

Admission will be conducted through merit list candidates who are clear the merit list only they can take admission to the Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University. There is physical tests for some courses which is given in the description below.

Eligibility Criteria for UG PG Courses :
| MCA(3 Years) | Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks (47.5% marks for SC/ST) of minimum3 year duration in any discipline with Mathematics at10+2 level. |
| MCA (Lateral Entry) (2 Years) | Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration B.Sc (Computer Science)/B.Sc (I.T.)/BCA from any recognized University with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate level with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (47.5% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) shall be eligible to apply for admission. |
| M-Tech (Computer Engineering) (2Years) | B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/InformationTechnology/Electronics & Communication Engineering/or M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT/Software)/MCA or equivalent Degree with at least 50% marks (47.5% marks for SC/ST) inaggregate. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. |
| M.A (Music & Science) | B.A.(Hons.) in Music with 45% marks (42.5% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate. |
| M.A Education (2 Years) | Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.50% marks for SC candidates). |
| B.P.Ed.(2 Years) | Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (47.50% marks for SC candidates)and having at least participation in Inter College/Inter Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt.of India. |
| PG Diploma In Yoga (1 Year) | Bachelor Degree in any discipline or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in aggregate. |
| MA Yoga (2 Years) | Bachelor Degree in any discipline or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in aggregate. |

Candidate applying for the Admissions in various MCA/M.Tech/P.B.Ed./U.G Diploma/P.G/Certificate programmes of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University are required to apply online through the official website of CRSU (www.crsu.ac.in) and accessing the link ‘Online Admission System 2020. Before filling the Online Application, the candidate must scan images of following documents in CD/DVD/Pen drive for each document in JPG Format only.
