Applications are invited online at the website of Department of Forests and Wildlife, Govt. of NCT of Delhi http://forest.delhigovt.nic.in from eligible candidates as per criteria laid down below for filling up the various posts. The details of the posts, Pay Band/Grade Pay and eligibility conditions are as follows:

Education Qualification :
| Forest Ranger | Essential: –
(1). Educational Qualification: (a) Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering from any recognized University/Institute with one of the following subjects:
(2) (a) Physical Standard: The minimum standards for height and chest girth for a candidate shall be as follows:
However, the above height standards are relaxable to the extent given below in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Races such as Assamese, Bhutanese, Garhwali’s, Gorkhas, Kumaonise, Ladakhese, Mizo, Naga, Nepalese, Sikkimese and those from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti, Meghalaya Male – 152 Cm (b) Male/Female candidates must pass a Physical Test Covering a distance of 25/16 KMs respectively within four hours on foot. |

2. Desirable : Knowledge of Hindi. 3. (a) Physical Standards:

Application Fee :
Application Fee will be Rs. 100/- for all categories of posts. Transaction charges of the bank, as applicable shall be borne by the candidate.
All Female Candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribes are exempted from paying application fees as per extant Government orders. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the prescribed fee in full.
