IBPS PO Salary 2022 – Allowances
Dearness Allowance (DA):
Around 46% of IBPS PO basic salary is Dearness allowance and it is revised on a quarterly basis. DA is revised quarterly that is in the months of February, May, August, and November which is basically based on CPI that is Consumer Price Index as declared by the banks i.e. DA can go up with higher CPI and vice versa as its ratio is totally depend upon inflation rate as when it goes up, the ratio of Dearness Allowance also goes up and when inflation falls, DA goes down.
House Rent Allowance (HRA):
Another wonderful allowance is HRA that is House Rent Allowance that completely varies according to PO place of posting which is distributed between 7% To 9% depending on metros, big cities, and other locations. HRA is also called as the leased house accommodation allowance.The distributions of HRA in big cities are better as compared to those posted in other cities.
Special Pay:
It is the additional amountadded to IBPS PO Salary Structure 2022. It is around 7.75% of the IBPS Probationary Officer Basic Salary. After completion of one year service, an increment of Rs.400/- and Rs.500/- for 2nd year will be given to candidates.
