About Recruitment:
Indo Tibetan Border Police Force invited the Applicants for the Recruitment of 85 Posts of Constable (Animal Transport). All the Eligible Candidates who is Interested in this vacancy filled their Online Application Form. The Process of Submitting Online Application Form is Started from the Date 15/10/2018 & Conducted Till the Date 13/11/2018. About Exam:
All those Candidates Who Filled their Online Application Form Will Face the Exam. The Recruitment Board will conduct various exams for this Posts. The Selection will be Divided into 4 Phase. Candidates Can Check More Information From the Below Provided Link.
Selection Process :

- Physical Standard Test (PST)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The events of the PET are as follows:-
For Male Candidates | |
i) 1.6 Kms Race | To be completed within 7.30 Minutes. |
ii) Long Jump | 11 Feet (03 Chances) |
iii) High Jump | 3½ Feet (03 Chances) |
For Female Candidates | |
i) 800 Meters Race | To be completed within 4.45 Minutes |
ii) Long Jump | 9 Feet (03 Chances) |
iii) High Jump | 3 Feet (03 Chances) |
No marks will be awarded for this test and it will be only qualifying in nature. Those who do not qualify will be eliminated at this stage itself.
Note:- PET will not be held for Ex-servicemen. However, Ex- servicemen will be required to pass the requisite PST, written test and medical examination.

Written Test
Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:
- The written test will consist of OMR based or Computer based objective type multiple choice questions.
- The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
- Question Paper Will be of 100 Marks/ Questions.
- The Time Duration of Exam Will be 02 Hours (120 Minutes)

Exam Syllabus: The Exam Pattern Will be as Provided Below.
General Awareness/ General Knowledge – Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Knowledge of elementary Mathematics – This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns – Question Will be Related to the Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns.
Basic knowledge of the candidates in English/Hindi – Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
Merit List
After completion of the written test, Merit lists in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and Ex-servicemen will be drawn on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination.
Detailed Medical Examination
Candidates shortlisted in order of merit as per category wise number of vacancies will be put through DME to assess their fitness as per medical policy issued by MHA.

Review Medical Examination (RME)
In case candidates declared unfit in detailed medical examination are not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Officer, they may submit an application for his/her re-medical examination with a duly filled Medical Fitness certificate within 15 days from the date of his/her rejection in DME.
