About JEE :-

Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE-Advanced), formerly the Indian Institutes of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE), is an academic examination held annually in India. It is conducted by one of the seven zonal IITs (IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati) under guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). It is the sole prerequisite for admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology.

About JoSAA :-

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2025 has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 100 institutes for the academic year 2025-21. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

About Counselling :-

JEE Advanced Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025 – Candidates will be able to register for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2025 tentatively from the 2nd week of June. JEE Advanced 2025 counselling and seat allotment will be conducted by JoSAA as a centralized counselling process.

To register for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced:-

• Candidates will have to submit their JEE Main roll number and JEE Advanced password.
• All candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2025 with a qualified rank and meet the other criteria will be able to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.
• JoSAA authorities will be conducting seven rounds of JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment 2025.

The counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2025 consists of many steps such as :-

• Registration
• Choice filling
• Mock allotment
• Reporting to institute and more.

The schedule of the joint seat allocation will be announced separately by JoSAA 2025. The list of courses that will be offered by the IITs for admission for the academic year 2025-21 will be made available at the time of online filling-in of choices.
