About BSEM :-
The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur was established by an Act of Manipur Legislative Assembly in 1972. By the amendment of the Act in 2004. The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur was established in the year 1992 under the provisions of the Manipur Higher Secondary Act, 1992 (Manipur Act 4 of 1992). The examination of 12th Standard (Higher Secondary or +2) is conducting by this council across the state of Manipur.

Board of secondary Education Manipur conduct examination of class 10th/SSE every year for the students.
