MHT CET 2022 Counselling Procedure
Candidates are required to follow the steps given below for MHT CET counselling 2022.
Step 1 – Registration:
Candidates will have to register first to be able to participate in the counselling of MHT CET 2022
- Go to the official website of MHT CET 2022 the is mahacet.org
- On the home page, Click on SAAR Portal
- Now, Go to Sign In/Sign Up
- After that, you will have to select their mode of entrance examination
- Now Selection of course and college has to be done

Category Details
Candidates must select their type of candidature according to their category. Selection should be done on the basis of their eligibility from the following categories:
- Maharashtra State Candidature (Type A/ B/ C/ D/ E)
- OMS
- J&K Migrant
- Foreign Students
- NRI
- PIO/ OCI
- CIWGC
- GoI
Security Question
- Select the security question from the available options
- Answer the question and remember both questions and answers for future use
- Password creation
- After filling the required information, candidates will have to create a password following the given criteria:
- Password must be 8 to 13 characters long
- It should contain at least one upper and lower case alphabet
- Must contain at least one numeric value
- Must have at least one special character in it! @ # $% ^ & * –
Step 2 – Mentioning Qualification and Examination Details:
Candidates will need to submit their class X and XII subject wise and overall score with the name of their school board. They also need to submit information related to the MHT CET 2022 exam.
Step 3 – Uploading of Scanned Images:
Candidates must upload their scanned photographs and signatures as per the specifications given below:

Step 4 – Counselling Fees Payment:
If the candidates fail to pay the required consulting fees then the information presented will be incomplete. Payment must be made in online mode. It should be noted that the fee has to be paid only by those candidates who did not register for MHT CET 2022.
Step 5 – Print out of Counselling Registration Form:
Upon successful payment of counselling fees, candidates will be required to take a print out of the filled application form and carry it to the designated Setu Suvidha Centre (SETU) for verification purpose.
Step 6- Reporting at Setu Suvidha Centre (SETU):
Candidates who have been registered for counseling will have to report their assigned SETU for document verification purpose. They will need to take their original documents along with a set of verified copies at the facility centers. Candidates who fail to report at the Facilitation Center will not be allowed to participate in the further admission process.
Candidates must submit the following documents for verification:
- Print out of MHT CET 2022 counselling registration form
- Result of MHT CET 2022
- Admit Card of MHT CET 2022
- Passing Certificate and Mark Sheet of class X & XII
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Character Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- School Leaving Certificate
- Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
Step 7 – Choice Filling:
Candidates will need to fill the names of colleges and courses in the order of their choice. They are advised to fill their maximum options to keep their entry opportunities high.
Step 9 – Publication of Provisional Merit List:
DTE officials will issue the provisional and final merit list of MHT CET 2022, which will be the names of shortlisted candidates. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit list issued and candidates filled by candidates.
