General Science : The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences.
General Hindi : शब्द-पद, क्रिया भेद, मिश्र व संयुक्त वाक्य, वाक्यों का रूपांतरण, स्वर-संधि, अलंकार, समास, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, अशुद्ध वाक्य संशोधन, अपठित गद्यांश|
General English : In addition to the testing of candidates understanding of English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonymous, antonyms and its correct usage etc. His/her writing ability would also be tested.
General Mathematics : Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals & Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Use of Tables & Graphs, Mensuration.
General Knowledge and Interest : Geography, Indian History, Freedom Struggle, Culture & Sports, General Polity & Constitution of India, Economics, General Science, Current Affairs and Reasoning & Analytical ability of 10th standard.
General Computer Knowledge : Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
General Logical Abilities : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualisation, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.
