S-01 Area : Bioinformatics	Principal Scientist	Ph.D. in any science subject in the area of Bioinformatics or Computational biology followed by 03 years experience in the relevant area.	Experience in the following areas with high impact publications: (a) high-throughput genome analysis, (b) genome assembly annotations, (c) comparative genomics, (d) NGS information analysis, (e) Big Data Analysis
S-02 Area : NMR/ Mass spectroscopy	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of NMR or MASS Spectroscopy	Experience of working on NMR including NMR-based plant metabolomics and structure elucidation of natural products. Experience in NMR based plant bio-prospection and metabolic engineering.
S-03 Area : Plant physiology/ plant hormones	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of Plant physiology or Plant hormones	R&D Experience in the area of plant physiology/ plant hormones under laboratory as well as field conditions in crops and plants of diverse ecosystems. Candidate should have knowledge and working experience of photosynthesis measuring systems, chlorophyll fluorescence measuring systems, water relations, microscopy, plant phenotyping, hormone assays, and plant hormone response pathways.
S-04 Area : Enzymology	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of Proteins or Enzymes.	Sound understanding and work experience in protein science, protein purification, enzyme kinetics, characterization of a new enzyme, characterization of an enzyme/protein for a new function, recombinant expression of proteins/enzymes in microbial system, as evidenced through ab-initio research and publication/patent.
S-05 Area : Pharmacology/ Drug delivery system/ Pharmacological formulation development/ regulatory issues	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of pharmacognosy/ drug development/ drug delivery/ regulatory issues/ pharmacological formulation.	Candidate should have experience in tools and techniques employed in drug evaluation/ Pharmacology / Parmacological formulations/ drug delivery systems. Experience as evident from publications/patents/products in the areas of herbal product development/identification of chemotypes/ preparation of monographs. Acquitance with regulatory framework of drug discovery is desirable.
S-06 Area : Pharmacognosy	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of pharmacognosy/ chemotaxonomy	Candidate should have experience in tools and techniques employed in pharmacognosy/ chemotaxonomy research. Experience as evident from publications/ patents/ products in the area of herbal product development/ identification of chemotypes/ preparation of monographs.
S-07 Area : Chemical/ biochemical process engineering	Scientist	M.E./ M.Tech in Chemical/ Biochemical Engineering or Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the areas of chemical engineering	The candidate should be creative and innovative in process chemistry and to upscale the process developed at lab and to guide design and fabricate the equipment for semipilot scale in the area of drug development and industrial products.
S-08 Area : Outreach/ Extension Activity	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of agriculture extension or outreach or rural development.	Participation in major rural development/ extension/ outreach/ skill development programme(s) as evident from publication of extension bulletins, articles and other media products, delivering lectures/ talks in Hindi and English languages, organizing training, extension and skill development activities.
S-09 Area : Reproductive biology	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject in the area of plant reproductive biology.	Demonstrated proficiency in plant reproductive and developmental biology, including manipulating plant reproductive mechanisms to enable better crossing sucess, and genetic manipulation as evidenced by publication/ patent.
S-10 Area : Information & Publication	Scientist	Ph.D. (submitted) in any science subject	Quality Publications, scientific and technical writings / editing of scientific and technical reports as evident by published work.

Candidates applying for more than one post code should submit separate applications for each post code including separate Demand Draft.

Duly filled in application form, complete in all respect along with an application fee in the form of crossed Demand Draft (as per CTS Standard) for and supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, date of birth, experience certificates, community certificate, if any, addressed to the Controller of Administration, CSIR-NBRI, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow-226001 should reach this office by speed post on or before . 27-02-2021. The applications received after the last date of receipt of application will not be considered.

Copy of Synopsis Sheet is also attached along with the application form available on our said website. The applicant has to fill up the Synopsis Sheet in all respects and also may ensure that the information provided by them in synopsis sheet and application form should not vary in any circumstance. Therefore, applicants are advised to fill up the Synopsis Sheets after filling the original application.
