NDA 2022 Application Form, Registration, Syllabus Exam Pattern
NDA 2022 exam is going to be held in April 2022 for the first session and in September 2022 for the second session. This NDA entrance exam is the national level entrance exam through which is conducted every year.
NDA (National Defense Academy) is one of the prestigious examination authorities conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).
With this NDA Exam 2022, various candidates become eligible for selection in the training academies of the Indian Navy, Indian Army, and Air Force. To be eligible for admission in NDA candidates have to qualify for the entrance test followed by SSB interview round and a medical test.

NDA 2022 Application Form
NDA 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- The applying candidate must be an Indian citizen / Nepalese / Bhutanese / Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Candidates coming from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda or Vietnam with the intention of settling in India are also eligible.
- Candidates who are foreign nationals (except Gorkhas) will have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt. of India.
Gender, Age & Marital Status:
- Only male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.
- Only male candidates who are unmarried are eligible to apply. Candidates will not be allowed to marry until they complete their training period.
- Applying candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years. For NDA I, the candidate must be born between 2nd July 2003 to 1st July 2006. For NDA II, the candidate must be born between 2nd January 2004 to 1st January 2007.
Qualification:
- For Air Force & Naval Wing (Cadet Entry Scheme): Candidates should have passed 10th & 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For Army Wing: Candidates should have passed 10th and 12th from a recognized board or university.
- Appearing: Students appearing for the 12th level are also eligible to apply.
Fitness:
- The applying candidates should be physically fit as per the physical standards prescribed by the NDA Admission Commission.
- Candidates withdrawing or resigning from any of the Armed Forces training academies on grounds of discipline are not eligible.
NDA 2022 Application Form

- The application form will be released in last week of December 2021 for 1st session and in second week of June 2022 for 2nd session.
- Candidates can apply for both sessions through online mode.
- The board will also provide the facility for withdrawing of application within a certain period of time.
- Students are advised to fill the NDA application carefully as no modification in the application will be allowed after the submission of the form.
- Last date to fill the application form will be till the third week of January 2022 for 1st session and till last week of June 2022 for 2nd session.
- There will be two parts to the NDA 2022 registration process – Part I & Part II.
- In Part I, candidates will have to fill basic & other details in registration form.
- In Part II, candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature, make choice of exam centre and make payment of the application fee.
- After completion of the NDA 2022 application process, candidates are advised to print the application form and keep it safely for any future reference.

- Any one photo ID proof- Aadhar card, pan card, photo ID card, driving license, or any other photo ID card which must be issued by central/ state government.

Application Fee:
- Candidates will be able to submit NDA 2022 application fee through both online or offline mediums.
- Through online mode, candidates will be able to use a credit card, debit card,s or net banking.
- E- challan method of SBI bank can be used through the offline medium.
- NDA 2021 application fee is Rs.100/-.
- SC/ ST/ Sons of ORs, NCOs, and JROs, category candidates are exempted from the fee.

Basic Information
- Mode of Exam: The paper will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode.
- Number of Sections: The paper will have two sections – Mathematics and General Aptitude.
- Duration of Exam: Candidates will be given 5 hours to complete the paper (2 hours 30 minutes each for Mathematics and GA section).
- Question Type: The paper will have objective-type questions.
- Paper Language: The paper will be bilingual – in English as well as the Hindi language.
- Marking Pattern: For each wrong answer, 33% of marks will be deducted from the marks assigned for the question.
NDA 2022 Syllabus
Candidates can check the complete NDA Syllabus online mode from the website. The Syllabus will contain various topics from Paper I – Mathematics and Paper II – General Ability & English.
Paper I (Code No – 01) – Mathematics:
Matrices & Determinants, Analytical Geometry of two and three Dimensions, Integral calculus and Differential Equations, Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, etc.
Paper II (Code No – 02) – English & General knowledge:
There will be two parts in Paper II:
Part A: English:
The question paper of English will be designed for testing the student’s understanding of English and workman-like use of words. The syllabus covers various aspects like: Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension and usage and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate’s proficiency in English.
Part B: General Knowledge:
The paper of General Knowledge in NDA will cover various topics from the subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, General Science, and Geography & Current Events.
