About Recruitment:
Odisha Staff Selection Commission has announced the short notice about the various 108 posts like Junior Clerk-Cum typist, Junior Accountant and Junior Clerk. All the Interested Candidates Filled their Online Application Form For these Posts. Application Submission process is Started from the Date 05-Mar-2025 To 04-Apr-2025. About Exam:

Selection Process:
Examination will be conducted in 3 Phases i.e.
- Phase I : Main Written Examination
- Phase II : Typing test in computer
- Phase III : Document Verification
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-
- Phase I of the examination will be Objective in nature.
- About 6 times the number of total vacancy, Candidates will be called for Stage II.

The questions of General English and Odia Language will be of HSC standard and will comprise of comprehension of given passage, Vocabulary, Usage and Grammar. The questions of General studies Paper will comprise of questions on Indian History, history of Odisha, Geography of the world and India, Indian Polity, Environmental Studies, Human Rights, Socioeconomic Development, Art and Culture and General Science. The questions will be of HSC standard. The language test will be done in OMR sheet. There shall bee negative marking of 0.25 marks. |

PHASE II
- Type writing Test.(Qualifying in Nature)
| Transcription in english on computer | A passage/paragraph of 500 words | Duration 10 minutes |
| Candidates typing less than 400 words correctly will be disqualified | ||
| Transcription in Odia on computer | A passage/paragraph of 500 words | Duration 20 minutes |
| Candidates typing less than 400 words correctly will be disqualified | ||
The Transcription on computer in Odia will be done in Leap Office software.
- Basic Computer skill test
This test will be of 50 marks and consisted of 01 hour.(qualifying in nature).
A candidate has to secure minimum 20 marks to qualify for this test.
Computer skill test will be done on the following
Basic knowledge in computer application:
- Computer fundamentals.
- Ms windows
- Ms office
- Usage of internet services available on internet.
PHASE III
Document Verification
Candidates about 2 times of the vacancies category wise in order of merit basing on the marks of the main written examination, who qualify for Odia typewriting test, English typewriting test and basic computer skill test will be Shortlisted for Document Verification.
There will be no Interview.
