About RRC Group D Recruitment :
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has Announced about the Recruitment of 103769 Posts of Level 01 Posts. Many Interested Candidates filled their Application Form. The Process of Submitting Application Form is Conducted Online. The Process of Submitting the Online Application is started from the Date 12.03.2019 & Conducted Till the Date 12.04.2019. About RRC Group D Exam :
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRCs) will conduct a CBT exam for recruitment of Level 01 Posts. Exam Will be Tentative schedule In December 2020. Exact Date of Examination Will be Announce Later on the Official Website. More Details About the Exam is Provided Below.
Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Without Proper Knowledge of Syllabus Pattern, one can not give 100% in the exam. Without Information about exam pattern syllabus Preparation will not become a surety for Selection. For solving candidates purpose, we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Group D Exam conducting by RRC.
Selection Process :
The Railway Recruitment Cell Will Complete the Group D Recruitment Based on this Following Selection Process :-
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Computer Based Test (CBT) :
RRC Group D Exam Pattern :
The RRC Group-D Exam pattern is as follows:
- The Exam Will be CBT Objective Type.
- The Exam will be of 100 Questions.
- The Time Duration for the Exam Will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribe)
- The Question paper will be Based on the Subjects like
- General Science – 25 Marks/ Questions
- Mathematics – 25 Marks/ Questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning – 30 Marks/ Questions
- General Awareness and Current Affairs – 20 Marks/ Questions
- There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories :
- UR – 40%,
- EWS – 40%,
- OBC (Non creamy layer) – 30%,
- SC – 30%,
- ST – 30%.
These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
RRC Group D Exam Syllabus :
RRC Group D Exam Syllabus is as Follows :
a. Mathematics : Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
b. General Intelligence and reasoning : Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
c. General Science : The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level (CBSE).
d. General Awareness on current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subject of importance.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :
Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for PET is as under:
For Male :–
- Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
- Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
For Female :-
- Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
- Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
Document Verification :
All the Candidates Who Clear the Computer Based Test (CBT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) they Will be Called for the Document Verification. The Date & Venue of Document Verification will Provide you on the Official Website Before the DV.
Medical Examination :
Candidates found eligible after document and candidature verification shall be referred for medical examination.
