About Recruitment:
Tripura Public Service Commission has recently announced the recruitment for the vacancies for the Posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Men) (Un-Armed branch), Group-C Non-Gazetted under Home Department, Govt. of Tripura.. The total vacant posts for Sub Inspector (SI) is 22. All the Interested and the Eligible candidates can apply for these posts online. The date to apply online for these posts was commenced from 10th of September, 2020 and the Last date to apply for these posts will be 5th of October, 2020.

Selection Process for Tripura PSC SI :–
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Examination
- Personality Test
Physical Efficiency Test :-
- The standard of the physical efficiency test will be that of ‘One star standard’ [ 100 – 3.80 Mtr, Shot Put (7.26 KG)- 5.60 Mtr, High Jump2 Min. 50 Sec.] of the National Physical Efficiency Test as fixed by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Education.
- The candidates who achieve one star standard and thereby qualify in the physical efficiency test will be required to sit for a written examination
Written Examination :-
Exam Pattern :
Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-
- The standard of written papers will be that of the Degree (Pass course) Examination of an Indian University.
- There will be two papers in the Mains Examination.
- This Exam will be conducted for the Maximum of the 200 marks.
- Time allocated for each Exam of Mains will be of 3 hours.
Exam Syllabus :
Exam Syllabus for Examination is given below :-

Note :- Questions of Written Paper-I shall be answered in English and Questions of Paper-II may be answered in English or Bengali.
Personality Test :-
- Qualified candidates in the Written Examination will be call for the Personality Test.
- Personality test will be of 20 marks.
- The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained by a candidate in the Written Examination in aggregate and by adding the marks obtained in the Personality Test.
Note :- On the basis of result of Written Examination candidates will be called for Personality test as per the following ratio
