Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) invited online applications from eligible Indians to complete 174 vacancies of Assistant Sub-Inspector from 18/04/2018 to 24/05/2018. For this the organization organized a written test on August 26, 2018. A total of 5294 candidates appeared for the Prelims and approximately 2820 passed the preliminary examination. Eligible candidates now have to appear for the main exam on the mentioned examination date.

Bihar Police Main Exam Pattern for ASI Steno 2021:
- Exam Type: Objective
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration of Exam: 1:30 Hours (90 Minutes)
- Negative marking of 0.2 marks
- Paper 1 will have questions from General Hindi and Paper 2 will have questions from General Study, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability.
- The minimum passing marks in the examination is 30%.

Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows :
- The examination will be of written objective type.
- The examination will be 100 points with 100 questions.
- The time period of the written examination will be 1 1/2 hours (90 minutes).
- The question paper will be based on general knowledge and current issues.
- 2 Marks will have negative marking.
Minimum Qualifying Marks Will be 30%.

- The main exam will consist of two papers.
