Karnataka TET Notification 2021
Karnataka TET Notification 2021 for March Exam has been Released Now!!! Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level examination conducted by Departments of School Education, Government of Karnataka for the recruitment of teachers in the state of Karnataka. KARTET Online Application Process has been started now from today onwards that is January 25, 2021. So, candidates who are interested and want to appear in Karnataka TET Exam to be held on 15 March 2021 need to apply now via online process. The closing date to apply online is 25-02-2021.
Karnataka TET 2021 will be held in two phases; 1st Phase will be conducted for those who are willing to get Karnataka Jobs as Primary teacher (Class 1-5) and 2nd Phase will be organized for the Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8). Candidates need to follow the procedure for submission of Karnataka TET Online Form as given in the KARTET Information Bulletin and user guide manual. If candidates not found eligible in all aspects at the time of submission of form will be rejected. The candidate is advised to apply before the last of the KARTET Examination by following the instructions given in the brochure.

Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2021
For Classes 1 – 5 (Paper – I):
To appear in KAR TET 2021 Exam, appliers must possess required qualification mentioned below.
- PUC / Senior Secondary Exam or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks & must pass or appear in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- PUC / Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and should have passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary Examination (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
For Classes 6 – 8 (Paper – II):
Candidates should possess required qualification as provided below to appear in Karnataka TET Exam 2021 for Paper II:
- Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). OR
- Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- PUC / Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and should have passed or appearing in the 4th year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- PUC / Senior Secondary Examination (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Important Note:
Reserved categories candidates such as SC / ST / C-I / Differently-abled will get Relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification.
Age Limit to appear in Karnataka TET Entrance Exam 2021:
To apply for Karnataka TET Exam 2021, the age of candidates should not be below 18 years of age.
Karnataka TET Examination Pattern 2021
- Karnataka TET 2021 will be conducted in objective type.
- Karnataka TET exam will be organized in offline mode.
- There is no provision of negative marking.
- Each question will be of 1 mark.
